Her First Class

After days of waiting, Sarah had her first pointe class. It started with about ten minutes of stretching and moving the feet with what looks like a piece of a very large rubber band. Then a quick 'reciting' of the alphabet...by drawing the capital letters with the right foot and then the left. Who knew? It was finally time to put on the pointe shoes. The rest of the class was done at the barre with very simple and slow movements. Sarah has a lot of work to do to get the pointe shoes broken in, but she is definitely up to the task.
