Special Breakfast

Last year Sarah and her friends, G and AB went out to breakfast before school. We can't remember if it was the beginning of the school year or the end of last school year but it was something fun to mark the beginning/end of school. They went to Sarah's favorite breakfast place.

Since the end of this year is fast approaching, they decided to go again. This time they invited Colin. He was so excited. At just before seven, they all got on their bikes and went to Lumes. They already knew what they would order; Mickey Mouse pancakes with a side of extra crispy bacon. Mmmmmm. They decided to forgo the juice because they didn't want to spend too much (of my money). As they were being seated the woman said to Colin "You are just the cutest thing." He said everyone laughed. I am sure he was so embarrassed (and his parents weren't even there, imagine that). Breakfast was great and they even left a tip! I think a new tradition has been set.
Off they went to school with full bellies. They loved their sense of independence and seemed awfully proud of themselves. They grow up soooo fast!
