Disappointment

Matthew decided to take some money out of his savings account to invest in a stock that has been doing well. Here he is with his cold hard cash.....

Not a bad way to start the day. He had a great day at school, and then went to work out with the track team. When he got back to his locker he discovered that someone had stolen the money out of his wallet (not the money you see in the picture). He didn't have a lock on his locker because he broke his lock over break and hasn't purchased a new one yet. It is very disappointing to think that someone from the team, or perhaps the school, would steal money like this. Matthew has now realized the lock that he neglected to buy has cost him six times the amount of money. I hope this is a lesson learned. I also hope that the stock continues to do well!
