Green Means...
I am riding my bike! Sarah and her longtime friend and backyard neighbor have been riding bikes to school together for years in the nice weather. Every morning our phone would ring at precisely 7:15. It was GB asking for if Sarah was riding her bike to school. It would be the same thing the next, and the next...
Finally, six weeks before GB graduates, the girls have come up with a system that doesn't require a phone call. They each colored a small portion of poster board; green on one side and red on the other. If Sarah puts the green side facing GB's house then that means she is biking.
It is hard to tell from the picture, but GB was also displaying green today. It worked perfectly!! Nice job girls. Maybe AB and Colin can use them when you both have graduated. I hate to see such a great idea only last a short time.
