Well, almost. We had over an inch of rain Friday night which caused the creek to actually flow. Usually, the creek bed is dry or just has about an inch of water in it. In this picture the creek is probably about four and a half or five feet deep.
It has filled up like this quite a few times. In fact, a couple of years ago, Matthew and his friend built a 'raft' and floated it down another section of the creek. They were awfully proud of themselves, until they were 'scolded' by a city worker and had to disembark from their raft. 
You've got to love boys!! And yes I was there taking pictures of the whole thing.
