Five minutes into the display we hear the Blackhawks song blasting from the speakers, then see on the scoreboard that the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. Matthew also texted me the news. Everyone was hootin' and hollerin'. A nice way to end a nice day.

Cleaning Day
The school year is just about over for Sarah and Colin. They only had a few things to bring to school; a rag and a bag. Colin volunteered to bring a bucket so here they are ready to go.
After a short day, they both went to the pool with friends. Then we headed off to the Windy City Thunderbolts game with Colin's baseball organization. The timing wasn't great because the Chicago Blackhawks were playing Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The attendance was way down from previous years but those of us that went had a good time. Matthew was keeping me updated via text on the hockey game. They went into overtime. Now the baseball game ended and the fireworks began.
Five minutes into the display we hear the Blackhawks song blasting from the speakers, then see on the scoreboard that the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. Matthew also texted me the news. Everyone was hootin' and hollerin'. A nice way to end a nice day.
